Poison Prevention Week

This week is National Inhalants and Poison Prevention Week in the United States. One poison exposure is reported to US Poison Control centers every 15 seconds, and many of these exposure are children. Simple prevention techniques can help keep them safe and avoid incidents.

Keep all medications high and out of reach, especially use child proof tops.  If child proof tops are not an option for you, obtain a lock box for all medications.

Keep all chemical cleaning and household products out of reach of children with tops on tightly to prevent spillage.

Gardening and Agri chemicals are especially to dangerous to humans, animals and our environment.  Please store properly in a appropriate container.

Let's be mindful of dangerous items and protect those around us.
