"Arkansas Children's Week" is a special time throughout Arkansas. It's a time for local municipalities to reach out to the children in the community.  Making children a priority in our lives through showing them great law enforcement examples. 

The old saying, "There is my friend the policeman," is no longer politically correct, but Deputy Sargent, Belinda Gentry of the Phillips County Sheriff Department makes our department proud.  To celebrate, Arkansas Children's Week, she caringly gave up a day off to read to the children at JF Wahl Pre-School.  Thank you, Sargent Gentry, for setting a great example and helping our light shine in the community.
